Branka's Site Visit with Pamela at Jewish Vocational Services


The visit to JVS was filled with informative conversations, enlightening tours and impressive demonstrations.

This is what Pamela outlined in her formal plan:

“Build out curriculum that incorporates Eno interactive whiteboard technology into the majority (65%) of Job Search Skills workshops; train workshop facilitators (15+ staff) on using Eno in the workshops they teach; identify Eno “gurus” in each department (4-5 people) to serve as a resource for department colleagues; incorporate Eno into all youth and bridge programs offered onsite at JVS (3-4 programs total); meet survey goal of 50% of JVS staff reporting comfort using Eno for meetings and other events with use on a biweekly basis…

I would like to incorporate at least four activities that use the Eno interactive whiteboard into our Resume Essentials I workshop.  I’ve chosen this workshop due to its popularity and relevancy to all clients regardless of job goal or skill level.  Once I’ve finalized the curriculum, I’d like to train a small group of three staff members from different departments to pilot the new Resume Essentials I workshops and provide feedback for improving or enhancing Eno activities.  Ultimately, through this project I’d like to offer staff the opportunity to receive support while experimenting with the Eno and developing their skills and comfort with this technology….


As a workforce development agency, we also strive to prepare our clients for the technological demands of the workplace.  One way we can do this is to give our clients opportunities to see how enjoyable and non-threatening technology can be, too.  I believe this is just the first step on a longer journey to embrace the benefits technology in the classroom and workplace. ”
